Napa, CA

Napa, CA began it's efforts to secure a National Humane Alliance Fountain to place at the intersection of Pearl, Franklin and Polk streets in January, 1910 but it took until 1911 for the fountain to be shipped to Napa and it had then been decided to place it on Second Street.

The fountain arrived in June, 1911 and Mrs. R. M. Kyser of the New Century Club announced that the fountain had arrived, but they wanted it back at Franklin and Polk. We're not sure exactly where the first location was, but we do know - and you can see from the picture above - that the fountain still exists and it is now located in Fuller Park.
