ASO Athletic  & Outdoor Sports Takes over for Hubbell Brothers

During the first eight years of the Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5K Road Race, Connecticut's oldest shoe store, Hubbell Brothers in Derby supplied the running shoes for our first place male and female winners. Sadly, during 2010 Hubbell Brothers closed its doors for the last time. It was a nostalgic and sad day, but we are pleased to announce that one of the Valley's newest businesses, Shelton's ASO Athletic Sports and Outdoors has stepped in and they will be providing the prizes.

The other prizes for the first three runners in the race will be the traditional runner's hat which has been given to all winners since the race first started. The Wilson Agency, Inc is once again the sponsor of the hats which are a dark navy blue this year. There is a white and red trim along the brim and on the stretch tab in the back.

We ask that runners stick around long enough after the race to pick up their awards.
