Sledding in Derby

Normally the softball field in the Ryan Athletic Complex sits vacant and cold throughout the winter. However, it only takes a little bit of snow and some cold weather to create ideal conditions for sledding. With Osbornedale State Park open directly across the street for ice skating, Derby residents are can enjoy a great opportunity to practice their winter athletic skills within city limits.
