City Webcam Will Have Race View!
The City of Derby has redirected its webcam especially for the Commodore
Hull Thanksgiving Road Race! The camera, which is perched atop City Hall
at the Corner of Main And Elizabeth Street is just about a mile into the
race. The camera normally is pointed to the east along Main street, but
it has been turned to the west and now catches the Derby/Shelton Bridge
along which the runners will be proceeding both on their way out and way
back along the course. It's not going to be a big view, but it should be
enough to give a brief glimpse of the action particularly under the
large American flag that is displayed at the center of the bridge during
the race thanks to the volunteer firefighters from Derby and Shelton.
The camera is also a good way for runners to check out the weather
conditions before heading for the course on Thanksgiving morning! You
