New Banners Fly Over Valley

Derby has joined Ansonia in unveiling new All America City 2000 banners flying from street poles throughout their downtown areas. The bright banners display the official All America City logo earned by the Valley delegation in Louisville along with language identifying the City of Ansonia. Naugatuck has a limited number of banners that made their debut as part of Naugatuck's All America City Block Party. Beacon Falls is expected to follow suit shortly. Rick Dunne, Economic Development Director for the City of Derby, coordinated the group purchasing of the banners.
