Middle School Students Continue Success

On Sunday, May 20, the DMS Running Club participated in the Michael Litwinka Memorial 5K in Naugatuck. Sixth graders Steven Stanley and Sara Gerckens finished first in their age group, seventh grader Jack Peccerrillo second, and sixth grader Rachel Fleischer third. Seventh grader Nicolette Tasi set a personal record. Seventh grader Kiley Rodriguez also participated, as well as Derby teachers Michael Gozzo and Jenny Ames.
