Day 3 of the trip had a tour of the helicopter facility at Sikorsky aircraft in Stratford followed by a very special luncheon at St. Mary's Church where the Puglianello delegation was joined by performers from L'Eco Del Gargano, (a traditional Apulian folk group from San Giovanni Rotondo, Foggia) and the Deputy Mayor of San Giovanni Rotondo, Mauro Cappucci. The group also visited Derby High School where the Italian performers sang and danced for Derby High School band and chorus members. The Derby band and chorus will be visiting Puglinaello in 2003.

In the afternoon, the performers and the Puglianello delegation visited Tele-Media and their singing and dancing were captured on tape by the talented Tele-Media crew. Watch for highlights on an upcoming Valley Worthy of Note.

A planned trip to the Derby - East Haven football game was washed out by the weather, but the night was already full of activity with the sold out performance of co Del Gargano at the Sons of Italy.
