Contact: Sheila O’Malley Mayor Staffieri Announces New Business for Derby Mayor Staffieri announced today that new owners will take over the former Dodge dealership located at 155 New Haven Avenue in Derby. “I am thrilled to welcome Riverside Properties, LLC. to Derby. This is exciting news for our City. It will turn a vacant, unused parcel of land into a tax generating business which will look to more than double its employment base from 22 to 50 employees. I am very encouraged about the good things that the new owners, Michael Klein and Basile Tzovolos, will do with the property. They have already done much to improve the property as they begin relocation efforts from Milford. This company will make another nice partner in Derby’s list of new and expanding businesses.” said Mayor Staffieri, The new company joins the likes of Lowes, GameStop, Starbuck’s, and others on New Haven Avenue. In recent years, the company has seen increased demands across their product lines and the need for expansion. “This has been somewhat of a challenging site and we are very fortunate to have the expertise of successful business owners who are poised to meet those challenges and I believe will succeed in making this a desirable new business in Derby.” added Mayor Staffieri” Click here for New Haven Register story. |
