The City of Derby provides sanitation services including weekly curbside refuse and recycling pickups, residential brush pickups, residential leaf pickup (must be placed in biodegradable bags) and Christmas Tree pickups. Please call the Public Works Complex before placing items at the curb, to schedule an appointment and receive procedure requirements. Procedure Violators may be subject to fines and fees.

Oversize Solid Waste Pickup

Any owner or occupant desiring collection of oversize solid waste (i.e. old furniture, appliances without freon and scrap metal) shall schedule an oversize solid waste pickup through the City of Derby department of Public Works. Collection of oversize solid waste will be provided according to the following fee schedule:
