Irving School 50th Celebration

On April 30th, 2004 The Irving School PTO will sponsor a dance to celebrate the school's 50th Anniversary Dedication. The dance will be held at Connie's Mountain Villa from 7:00-12:00.  Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Goldsstar entertainment playing a variety of music from the 50's to the present.  Hor-dourves and soda will be served and a cash bar will be available.  

In addition, a raffle will be held to raise money for The Joanne Middendorf Memorial Fund.  Mrs. Middendorf was a beloved faculty member of Irving School for many years who worked with special education children. Gifts baskets, stuffed animals and gift certificates are just some of the prizes being donated for this very special raffle.

Photo galleries displaying class pictures from 1954 will be set up on tables for viewing.  Come see how hair styles and fashions have changed!! Anyone who may have their own photos from Irving School are encouraged to bring them along and add to our photo gallery.

Invitations will be sent to former principals and teachers as well as city officials and state representatives. We hope that many alumni as well as the general public will help us celebrate this momentous occasion.

The price for admission is $16.00 per person, $30.00 a couple and $15.00 senior citizens. Tickets are available through Irving School or by calling Marisa Tascione at 732-4313 or Beth Colette at 732-4861.
