Olde Derby Day Photo Album
It was only fitting that a spectacular Olde Derby Day Weekend ended with a fantastic fireworks display capping a day of food, food and more food. There was entertainment all day capped by a great performance by the Drifters. The kids were kept busy all day with rides and other attractions. Several local dignitaries including the Mayor and the Chair of the Board of Aldermen "took the plunge" for the good of the event, and sports events crowned winners in multiple events. Throughout the day, there was still a buzz in the crowd about the preceding nights Grand Reunion of all Derby High classes at the Decades Parties hosted by downtown Derby residents. It was a great way to celebrate the 325th anniversary of our All America City - let's do it again next year! Click pictures for larger renderings.
