Garofalo, Democrats Sweep ElectionIncumbent Mayor Marc Garofalo has defeated
former Mayor Alan Schlesinger by a 1,867 to 1,700 tally to win election to
his second term. His win highlighted a virtual Decomratic sweep in the
election as Democrats won all seats contested exception for positions on
the tax board required by minority representation. Winning candidates
are indicated by Marc Garofalo smiles while being interviewed for Tele-media Cable following the posting of the results. |
