Bradley School Playground Gets a Makeover

Bradley School Playground

David Humphreys Road

Just in time for the start of a new school year, the Bradley School Playground has received a major makeover and upgrade. Earlier this year, the playground site which is under the control of the Board of Education was closed because of several deficiencies. Parent Jim Stadt stepped in and organized several fund raisers with the goal of bring the playground back into shape. Those efforts are bearing success just as school is set to open for the new year as Mayor Anthony Staffieri and other members of the Republican Town Committee held a work session to install a new rubber based underlay for the surface of the play area. The group also painted and worked on repairing some of the equipment. Another new section of equipment will be added later.
