Home of the Seymour Cougars and Cougarettes: 187 seventh graders (105 boys, 82 girls) and 183 eighth graders (103 boys, 88 girls).
Home of three interdisciplinary teams comprised of five teachers and 125-130 seventh and eighth grade students in each team with classes in English, Reading,
Spelling, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
Home of varied "special" and "exploratory" programs such as Art, Computers, Foreign Languages (French and Spanish), Health, Physical Education and
Woodshop.
Home of additional programs such as Algebra, Jostens Learning Computer Labs, Pre-Vocational Technology and the Valley-wide Televised ESL Learning
Program. Home of a comprehensive Special Education Program that offers self-contained, selected resource curriculum programs along with team-taught inclusion programs.
