The Ansonia High School Gospel Chorus put on an electrifying show at the All America City's Civic Action Fair as they thrilled an audience from across the nation with their talent and enthusiasm. The high energy performance earned accolades from everyone in attendance and left them clamoring for more. Earlier in the day, the Chorus participated in the Valley's official presentation by leading the delegation into and out of the auditorium as part of their presentation.
Valley delegates got a special treat later in the night when the Chorus put on an impromptu performance while the delegates were dining at a local restaurant. Many of the delegates who had attended the 1999 competition compared the magic of the Chorus' presentation with the display on the steps of the museum in Philadelphia for its emotional impact. Under the direction of Chorus Director Maria Tangredi, they represented Ansonia High and the entire Valley extremely well, and we only hope that everyone in the Valley community gets a chance to see these very talented singers!
