Honeybees and Beekeeping - Fun
For All! This very unique summer program suitable for ages 12 and up
will be presented by Ned Farrell, a local backyard beekeeper for
over 20 years. He spent two years in Paraguay, South America as an
Apiculture Extensionist for the Peace Corps. Participants will learn
how to recognize honeybees, how honeybees pollinate flowers and how
to start their own beehive. You’ll have an opportunity to taste some
local honey! Registration is requested. |
