Georgetown, TX
The Georgetown National Humane Alliance fountain was one of six that the Alliance had allocated to the state of Texas. Georgetown followed Dallas and Waco as Texas recipients. Lewis Seaver, Secretary of the NHA, had visited Georgetown and selected the site and Mayor R. E. Ward and the city council voted to accept it and place it in the public square in font of the new court house. It is one of the smaller NHA fountains. The fountain is currently located in front of the Williamson County Courthouse on West 7th Street in Georgetown. The water is not running and the lions heads are missing.
