Derby Youth Basketball

The Derby Youth Basketball Program is for boys and girls from Derby between the ages of 6 and 13. There is an Instructional League for those ages 6 to 8. The Junior League is for those age 9 & 10 and the Senior League is for those 11 to 13.

Registration Fees

Fee schedule:

  • 6 year olds - $35.00
  • 7 - 13 years of age - $45.00

For any additional children in the same family, deduct $5.00 from the regular fee.

Age Requirements:

Players must be 6 years old, but not yet 14 by September 1, 2004.

Team sponsors are always needed. Call the Derby Veterans Community Center (203) 735-4222 if you are interested.

Days of the week: Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday

Time of Day: Weekday evenings

Location: Derby Veterans Community Center and Irving and Bradley Schools

How to Register

Registration is publicized through the Derby Schools, local newspapers, and Tele-Media prior to the start of league play. Registrations are also accepted at the Derby Veteran's Community Center. You may contact the Center by phone at (203) 735-4222.
