Directly across the street is 22 Elm Street, a house which is known as the John Lampert house, although Mr. Lampert did not buy the property until 1881. An 1852 map shows this as the property of Charles Bristol, although it was probably built much earlier than that. The style of architecture indicates an early date of construction although many changes have been made to the house.
